B CIS continued liberalization of airspace. Since the beginning of October flights under fifth freedom of the air allowed in several airports of Uzbekistan. And at a meeting of the government of Kazakhstan on the issues of development of civil aviation on the introduction of the open skies regime in a number of national airports, said the Minister of industry and infrastructure development (MEERA) Beibut Atamkulov.<\/p>\n

In Uzbekistan the fifth freedom of the air is introduced from October 1 at the international airports in the administrative centers of Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya oblasts (viloyats) \u2014 Karshi and Termez, respectively, as well as in Nukus \u2014 the only airport in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Furthermore, the use of the fifth freedom of the air allowed for the carriage of foreign citizens in Bukhara, the administrative center of Bukhara region.<\/p>\n
