“Airlines of Ukraine “and “Uzbekistan Airways” has signed an agreement

“Airlines of Ukraine”and “Uzbekistan Airways” has signed the agreement on joining of the Ukrainian airline “CIS-Alliance” – while not too successful Alliance of airlines, founded in 1997, “Uzbekistan Airways” and “Transaero”, which later joined the “Aeroflot”. In the framework of the Alliance, the Ukrainian carrier has transferred to the Uzbek side on the right flights on the route Kyiv-new York, and is expected in future jointly operate lines in Chicago, Washington, Toronto. By the summer of 2001 it is planned to increase the frequency of flights on the route Kiev-new York to daily, including through the replenishment of the Park “Airlines of Ukraine” in March-April next year, two “Boeing 767″, which is planned to take in leasing. In turn, the Uzbek party shall transfer to the Ukrainian carrier in a joint operation of routes Tashkent-Seoul-Tashkent-Kuala Lumpur, Tashkent-Bangkok.
