The Belarusian airline “Belavia” have informed on the conclusion of a code sharing agreement with Uzbekistan Airways. Under the agreement, which involves the joint operation of air lines, Belavia will place its marketing code on flights between Minsk and Tashkent, the Uzbek performed by the operator.
Code-share flights between the capitals of the two countries was organized from 15 September. As stressed by the Belarusian carrier, the development of cooperation will enable passengers to use the convenient connections in case of transit through the airport of Minsk to destinations in Europe and the CIS, and through the airport of Tashkent in Central and Eastern Asia.
