The international airport of Samarkand from 1 July to 31 July will be closed for major repairs of the runway. On the website of national carrier Uzbekistan Airways provides information about what flights to the airport during this period will not be executed.
Due to planned renovations at the airport of Samarkand to the Russian airline “Aeroflot” reported that in the period from 4 July to 1 August transfers flights SU1874/SU1875 between Sheremetyevo airport and Samarkand international airport in Navoi. Distance from Samarkand to Navoi is almost 180 km.
