The tender for the supply and installation of electronic equipment for systems of air traffic control at airports of Samarkand, Bukhara and Urgench have won the Italian “Corporation Alenia”.
The refurbishment of these airports is carried out within the framework of existing in Uzbekistan, the credit programs of the government of Japan – in late November in Tokyo between the governments of Uzbekistan and Japan signed the documents granting the latter another soft loan in the amount of 2,871 million yen (about USD 26.3 million.) with a rate of 2.2% per annum, maturing in twenty years and the rescheduling of debt repayments for ten years.
