19 September, the national airlines of Russia and Uzbekistan, “Aeroflot – Russian international airlines” and “Uzbekiston Havo Yullari” signed a package of cooperation agreements.
One of the agreements provides for codesharing (code-sharing) with flights from Moscow (“Sheremetyevo-1”) in Tashkent with a stopover in one of the cities – Samarkand, Bukhara or Urgench (depending on the day of the week). In these areas, Aeroflot received a soft block of seats. The flights are operated by aircraft A310-300, owned by Uzbek airlines. Partners assume that this agreement will increase the flow of foreign tourists in the ancient Central Asian city.
