The national airline of Uzbekistan, the NAK “Uzbekistan Havo Yullari” (performs flights under brand Uzbekistan Airways), as expected, ceased commercial operation of the turboprop aircraft Il-114-100. It happened may 1, 2018, told the NAC.
From the press release of the NAC, it follows that this decision was made in order to standardize the fleet, improving the efficiency and profitability of flights. It is noted that Il-114-100 (manufacturer TAPOiCh — now the Tashkent mechanical plant) airline used for flights inside Uzbekistan.
