Uzbekistan Airways to equip its planes entertainment system from Panasonic

Company Panasonic Avionics Corporation and the national airline of Uzbekistan Uzbekistan Airways (part of the NAC “Uzbekistan Airways”) entered into an agreement for the installation of on-Board entertainment systems and connectivity in flight (Inflight Entertainment and Connectivity; IFEC) for three wide-bodied Boeing 787-8 aircraft and two narrow-body Airbus A320neo, which should soon be delivered to the operator.

As reported by the airlines for three Boeing 787-8 already in service, entertainment system Panasonic X-Series will be installed at the base of Uzbekistan Airways Technics. A320neo equipped with IFEC, will be put into operation in January 2019.

Thanks to the installation of new entertainment system passengers will have access to audio and video content with a personal touch HD screens. The aircraft will also install new satellite Wi-Fi modem from Panasonic, offering Internet access at speeds of up to 20 times greater than previous models. In addition, each seat will be equipped with USB-charging devices.
