For the first nine months of 2011 the airline “Uzbekistan Airways” transported 1,727 million passengers which is 7.7% more than in the same period last year. According to national airline of Uzbekistan, in comparison with last year has increased the average passenger load on each flight: from 90 to 96 pass. Cargo airlines (including baggage surcharge) increased by 5.2% — was transported 36 tons of cargo.
In addition to the airline part of the “Uzbekistan Airways” is part of 11 airports (six of them — Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Urgench, Termez, Navoi — have international status). For the first nine months of this year, they sent 1,6295 million passengers which is 11.7% more than in the same period last year, of the load-23.6 thousand tons, the increase was 13%.
