The Republic of Uzbekistan remains one of the few States in the near abroad, where the civil aviation (GA) constitutes a single complex: the national airline (NAC) “Uzbekistan Airways” includes the provider of Uzbekistan Airways Technics (more), “Uzaeronavigation”, a dozen airports and other enterprises. A similar structure is still preserved, for example, in Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.
However, it is possible that the transportation sector of Uzbekistan are waiting for global change. New impetus it can give the policy of the President of the Republic Shavkat Mirziyoyev (led the country in December 2016) aimed at withdrawal of Uzbekistan from stagnation and its liberalization.
