Provider Uzbekistan Airways Technics (UAT; structural unit of national airline (NAC) “Uzbekistan Airways”) in 2019 will be converted to a limited liability company and get financial independence from the parent company.
The reorganization of the Uzbek provider will be part of a large-scale reform and liberalization of the aviation industry of Uzbekistan according to the Decree of the President of the Republic Shavkat Mirziyoyev (document was released in November of 2018). All of the state unitary enterprise (GUP) included in the composition of the NAC will be converted into a limited liability company.
