Provider Uzbekistan Airways Technics received approval for THE Boeing 737

Provider Uzbekistan Airways Technics (UAT; structural unit of national airline Uzbekistan Airways) received approval for Maintenance of Boeing 737CL/NG. A message was posted on the website of the civil aviation Agency under the Ministry of transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The certificate provider was expanded with permit to perform the operational and periodic aircraft Boeing 737-300/400/500 (CFM56) Boeing 737-600/700/800/900 (CFM56).

The decision to engage in the maintenance of Boeing 737CL/NG UAT passed in 2018, This step was associated with the desire of a provider to increase the demand for their services and to enter the international market by increasing capacities and capabilities.

The fact that the parent airline does not operate these aircraft types. However, these planes, for example, exploit the carriers of neighboring countries — Turkmenistan Turkmenistan Airlines (in the Park 12 B-737-700/800), Kazakhstan’s SCAT (nine 737-300/500/700), Kyrgyz Avia Traffic Company (four Boeing 737-300) and Air Manas (single B-737-400). UAT also is working to attract in Tashkent Russian aircraft carriers.

Today, Uzbek provider based in Tashkent international airport and caters mainly for the aircraft of the airline Uzbekistan Airways, the fleet consists of three dozen aircraft, including six Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. The company is 757/767/787 maintenance of Boeing and Airbus 319/320/321.

The provider has certificates from the aviation authorities of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Europe (EASA) and Bermuda (BCAAs).
